We would like to invite you to support the Australian Bead and Bear Expo to be held on the September 13th & 14th 2008

This will be a largely bear and bead affair with a difference. This Years Theme- SPRING EXTRAVAGANZA!

The venue is situated on the ENTIRE 3rd floor of the Oasis Shopping Centre in fabulous Broadbeach
(Situated across the road from one of Australia's best surf beaches).

For those overseas and interstate artists the venue is easily accessed from the airport and there is plenty of accommodation in the vicinity The venue has ample free parking as well as very good public transport access and great loading and unloading facilities. There are also markets and lots of other attractions in this area and you should make some time for sightseeing.

There will also be a charity auction held on the Sunday,  with proceeds going to aid breast cancer research.

If you are interested in holding a bear workshop - either free or at a cost to the participants please call Lyn as soon as you can - as we are currently putting the time table together.

The free workshops. should be around 30 minute sessions. Requested suggestions have been websites and marketing, collecting, restoring and maintaining your collection or maybe a bear making or beading demonstration.
These  are  a  great  way  to promote  yourself  and  your  business.

The shows features are:
Trading from 10 am to 4p.m. Sat and Sun
Tables (6ft'.x 2.6ft) only S100.00 each for both days which includes white tablecloths and 2 chairs per table.  Along with the extensive advertising within the centre, There wi ll be an extensive  advertising
campaign using radio, newspapers, letterbox flyers. email, trade magazines and television, generously donated by our sponsors.

Awards presentation for the Bead and Bear Competitions.
Please note there is no public admission charge for this event.

To secure your tables please complete the 2008 application form and return it with your payment as soon as possible Trade Tables will be allocated on a first in basis. We are unable to hold any tables without full payment and a fully completed application form.

So much shopping on level 1.

An icon on the Gold Coast is The Oasis Monorail which runs from 9am daily connecting you to beaches, shopping, entertainment, Sofitel Gold Coast Resort and Jupiters Casino. With two stations on level 2 of The Oasis and a station at Jupiters Casino, you can Take The Ride and experience the sites of Broadbeach from above. Services run every 10 minutes until Midnight, seven days a week. Rides are just $2.00 per person per ride and children under 7 years are FREE!

The Oasis has over 1100 plus car parks available 7 days and nights with access to all shopping and commercial levels. Access to our carparks are via Victoria Avenue or Charles Avenue. While your shopping in our centre, you can have your car washed and detailed by professional people who take pride in making you look a million dollars.
